The day after....

Well the turkey was stuffed and now we are! What a wonderful Thanksgiving day we had. Although my mom fell early Thanksgiving morning and hurt both her legs she had no broke bones PTL! Our day was filled with laughter, fun, fellowship and lots and lots of food! Again we over did it. Brenda, Wiley, Tina, Tisa, myself and our kids all cooked some pretty fantastic dishes. Everything was so good. After the pig-out we all left only to do what Americans do right watch football then head back to moms for leftovers and the second round of eating. UGH I can hardly move. As I prepared for bed I thought about all the midnight sales and the 3am opening for the start of the Christmas holidays and I pondered to myself would anyone be heading to the cross to receive the FREE gift of life?

Now don't get me wrong I am all for a great deal in this time and day but what about the one we have all the time. Do we get up and worship as we should? Or, do we come up with excuses way to often? Just me pondering this first day of the CHRISTmas season!
